International School Awards

The International School Award is a British Council accreditation scheme rewarding schools with a notable global element in their curriculum. There are three entry points for schools: Foundation, Intermediate, and Accreditation.

The scheme began in 1999 and since then, over 1000 International School Awards have been granted.

Young Indians

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process. Yi was formed in the year 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 2600 direct members in 40 chapters, and engages around 15000 students under the brand ‘Yuva’.

Global Social Leaders

Global Social Leaders is a chance for young people to change the world for the better through social action and personal development. The Global Social Leaders programmes are transformational leadership experiences delivered by Future Foundations and the Wellington Leadership Institute that bring together young people from across the world.

The Council has been so constituted as to secure suitable representation of: Government of India, State Governments/Union Territories in which there are Schools affiliated to the Council, the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools, the Indian Public Schools’ Conference, the Association of Schools for the ISC Examination and members co-opted by the Executive Committee of the Council.

The International Award for Young People

The International Award for Young People (IAYP) is the most adaptable and successful youth empowerment program. We have no religious, political or strategic affiliations. We have an established capacity for identifying hard issues and challenges associated with youth. Our framework is used by schools, youth organisations, community groups, correctional services, employers and government departments nationwide. Around the world, more than 140 countries use this model for positive youth empowerment.

Future Foundations

Future Foundations is an independent training organisation which believes in the power of people. We have delivered pioneering training programmes with thousands individuals between the ages of 8 and 24 in the last ten years. Their mission is to inspire young people to achieve their full potential and become leaders in their lives and within society.


Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enrol in English-speaking universities. The test is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions. TOEFL is one of the two major English-language tests in the world, the other being the IELTS. TOEFL is a trademark of the Educational Testing Service (ETS), which designs and administers the tests.


Naviance is an American college and career readiness software provider that partners with high schools and other K–12 institutions to provide students with college planning and career assessment tools.


The SAT is a standardised test widely used for college admissions in the United States. It stands for Scholastic Assessment Test.The SAT is owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, non-profit organization in the United States.
